Rules
  • No event ticket required to enter. The painting competition is open to everyone — just pay the $10 entry fee per model directly to Extra Life at the event.
  • All entries must be painted personally by the original painter named on the entry form. Entries painted by anyone else will be disqualified.
  • Models entered in any category cannot be removed from the submission area for gaming during the event.
  • Judges reserve the right to move entries between categories as needed.
  • Competitors can only enter each category once, but may enter as many categories as they'd like.
  • All entries must be registered by 5 PM Saturday.
  • Entries will be photographed. Registration grants Oklahoma Open permission to show them in all public media, online and print.
  • Staff, volunteers, and organizers cannot be held responsible for damaged or lost miniatures. We'll do our utmost to keep them safe — if your model needs extra care or handling, please alert a staff member at registration.
  • Competitors may request feedback from judges in person on Sunday if available. Alternative feedback methods will be provided at the event — please include photos of your entries in your message.
  • Entries must remain on display until after the Sunday Awards Ceremony and must be picked up by 8 PM Sunday.
  • Entries not picked up by 8 PM Sunday will be held by the organizer, who will attempt to coordinate a return. If still unclaimed by December 15th, the model will be auctioned with proceeds donated to Extra Life in the entrant's name.
  • Miniatures and models from all manufacturers are welcome!
  • Models that may be considered NSFW (e.g. semi-nude) must be submitted ahead of time to the event runner for approval. If unsure, err on the side of caution and submit for approval anyway. We reserve the right to refuse models deemed inappropriate.
  • All decisions of the judges and management are final.
